In REFCOLD India 2020, a poster competition was organised for the students across the world with the aim of involving the academic community in the conference to expedite learning, and to provide a platform to demonstrate their innovative research skills.

Last year the topic was in the area of Refrigeration and cold storage. And the winners of the competition were-

With the grand success of REFCOLD India 2020, we are back with the poster competition to provide an opportunity to students around the world and test their prowess and creativity in the topics of enhanced agriculture, aquaculture, health care and any other topic linked to Refrigeration & Cold-Chain solutions.

The poster can be submitted by individual students or a group of maximum two students. All participants must be enrolled as students at the time of poster submission. A proof of student status, such as an active student ID or a letter from the college about the current enrolment, must be submitted along with the final poster. All documents and presentations must be in ENGLISH. A1 size poster ( vertical oriented) should be printed and carried by the students for the poster display at REFCOLD India 2020


Awarding Criteria
The posters will be selected for awards based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance of research to the community (10%)
  • Clear statement of objectives (10%)
  • Adequacy of methods used in research (10%)
  • Innovative components in research (25%)
  • Reliability of the proposed results (25%)
  • Clear outcomes from the research (10%)
  • Quality of presentation (10%)

  • 30th September, 2020 - Deadline to submit final poster
  • 15th October, 2020 - Notification to the selected poster for presentations

Who should exhibit?

Companies that provide equipment, tools and technologies that support the infrastructure and operations of cold-chain design and build services cold storage warehouse and processing facilties, all forms of refrigerated transportation import/export facilities and services, and companies that provide third-party cold storage and refrigeration logistics.
